About Your Trainer
Luke Knapp is a passionate health and fitness professional, dedicated to helping his clients achieve the best possible results. He has an impressive history of successful participation in a range of sports, enabling him to give a wide range of people guidance, based on real experience and enthusiasm. From a young age he has developed a talent for recognising the potential in everyone and gets tremendous satisfaction from seeing others achieve their sporting and fitness goals. Luke is a dynamic, adventurous and highly-motivated individual who is always excited by the challenge of improving fitness and high-level physical skill in himself and others.
Internationally certified as a Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist, he has the qualifications and experience to identify postural imbalances or weaknesses and to create a customised corrective programme to resolve these problems. He believes that, by addressing long term issues (like back pain or areas of repetitive strain injury) you can maximise your results and achieve your long term goals.
Luke works hard to keep up to date of current advances and developments and to expand his knowledge of suitable methods and approaches. He has the ideal combination of scientific knowledge and practical experience. He is therefore able to provide training and guidance for even the most complex of fitness needs.
As a keen sportsman himself, he works hard to maintain his own personal fitness and recently achieved a silver medal in the national UMA ground-fighting championships. His sporting and fitness interests include Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, rugby, running and a wide range of strength training disciplines, such as Kettlebells and TRX, and this range is expanding all the time.
